Camille J. Chee-Awai
Camille Chee-Awai is the Chief Executive Officer of Petters Capital, LLC. Prior to joining Petters Capital, Ms. Chee-Awai was an Executive Vice President and Managing Partner at Petters Group Worldwide where she focused on the structuring, financing and negotiation of various portfolio companies of Petters Group Worldwide. Prior to Petters Group Worldwide, Ms. Chee-Awai was a Managing Director at EIM, a $1.4 billion private asset management fund where she was actively engaged in administering the fund and participated on the Investment Committee. EIM managed investments across all aspects of the capital structure of companies covering multiple sectors. Prior to EIM, Ms. Chee-Awai successfully raised with CEA, a private equity fund focused on telecommunications and media investments in Latin America and the Caribbean. Before CEA, she was a Director at GE Capital and an Investment Officer at IFC, the private sector arm of the World Bank. At both investment firms, she originated and structured investments and participated on the boards of several portfolio companies. Ms. Chee-Awai has her MBA from the University of Chicago and BSc from Barry University. She speaks several languages including Spanish, French and Portuguese.
